It's Hygge Season - Learn to bring some gentle, relaxing vibes into your life

Throw on your softest sweater, pull up your fuzziest socks, and slather on that ultra-hydrating face cream because the time has come: Hygge season.

Hygge is characterised by candles, comfort, and cuddling. But it can really be anything that brings coziness into your life during the time of year where the leaves are changing, and the days grow shorter. Even as the cold creeps in, you can always find some hygge refuge in your home or with your loved ones.

Hygge is defined as "a quality of cosiness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture)."

So, how can you bring some hygge into your life (and skin care routine)? We share some tips below:

  3. Self-care

In our opinion, hygge season is one of the best times to reengage with your self-care routine. This is specific to your needs, but we suggest two tips to help calm your home and your skin. First, try reconnecting with nature by bringing that outdoors into your home (because you’ll be spending a lot more time indoors). Nature is inherently stress-reducing and adding plants to your home will increase oxygen quality and cause you to breathe easier and stay calmer. Second tip?
